Pink Fig's Patchwork Skirt and T-shirt

I love to share what my customer's create.  I draw such inspiration and even get a little push to get back to sewing when I see other's cute, cute creations!  Like this patchwork skirt made by a very good sewing friend of mine!  And even though she lives in CO and I live in OK, I think sewing bonds us together in a way that I can't explain!  I know all you sewing sisters will understand.  But try to explain that to those that don't sew, and you get the deer in the headlight look!  Here is her skirt!

I'll bet the little girl she made this for is still twirling!!  Love it!  She made it with this Pink Fig Pattern the Patchwork Skirt and T-Shirt

Want to make one for your little girl or someone you know?  Check it out at Fabrics I Love, and while your there check out the Fat Quarter Deal of the Week for only $1.25!  This week's is the cute Just Dreamy Large Cream floral by Riley Blake.

Thanks for sharing Carla!  And for the rest of my customer's, email your pics to post!  Who knows who you might inspire?

FABRICS I LOVE!!!!!!

Welcome to my new blog!!  I thought what better day to start a new blog than on the first day of the year?  And especially considering that I recently opened a new fabric shop, Fabrics I Love!  The timing just seemed right.  One of my goals for this shop is to bring you designer's fabrics that you will love.  I've only had the shop opened for about a month and already had several sales which has me pumped!

I want to set several goals for 2010 for my shop and I will be sharing those with you in future posts.  I have lots of ideas and plans in my head, but I want to get them on paper.  I'm not gonna call them resolutions, cause everyone knows that no one keeps resolutions!  BTW, did you know that it's not Two Thousand Ten, it is Twenty Ten.  Just trying to help you all out, so you don't sound dorky saying it wrong.

I wanted to share a few of the fabrics I have listed so far.   I still have lots of fabrics in boxes just waiting on me to get them on the site for you to ooh and ahh over.  Amy Butler's Love line for one!  And lots more on the way!  In my next post I will be telling you more about some of the weekly and everyday specials I will be offering.  So onto the pictures!

Just some of the sets I have available:

So go check out my new shop and give me some love.  And for a little extra incentive use the code "Twenty Ten" when you check out and I will give you 10% off all regular priced fabrics!  This will be good for all purchases through Thursday, January 7th.  So, go check out Fabrics I Love and tell all your friends.

Hugs,
Gina
